You are invited to join us as a member of the Luzerne County Historical Society, one of the oldest organizations in the nation.  Since 1858, membership in the Society has supported the collection and preservation of the record of Luzerne County history.  The Society's Bishop Memorial Library, the Luzerne County Museum, the Swetland Homestead and Denison House are major educational resources in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
